This Aluminum Down Flow Mustang radiator features a 16-7/8" wide core, down-flow radiator design, passenger-side inlet, and driver-side outlet, making it a purpose-built cooling solution for Mild Coyote-powered (Approx 400HP) classic Mustangs.
This radiator package combines a modern aluminum radiator construction with a configuration designed around the requirements of a Coyote engine conversion with the correct inlet and outlet location and diameter tubes. It is an excellent foundation for Mild Power (approx 400HP naturally aspirated) street-driven restomod Mustangs, and custom Coyote swap builds. Radiator cap included.

Installing a modern Ford Coyote engine into a classic Mustang requires more than simply choosing a universal radiator. Hose routing, radiator dimensions, mounting, and cooling-system connections all need to work with the vehicle and engine combination.
This radiator size is specifically for 1965-1966 Ford Mustang and 5.0 Coyote engine swaps and features a driver-side lower hose configuration and the correct diameter inlet and outlet for the Coyote hoses. This 17 Inch 3 Row Radiator Kit comes with a Single 16-Inch Diameter Electric Puller Fan with Fan Shroud for Mounting cleanly to the radiator. The size of this radiator fits well with the stock 1965 - 1966 Mustang Core Support size and opening.
***IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT HIGHER HORSEPOWER: If you are running a Coyote engine with more power than Stock, you may want to modify your core support opening and look at our 24 Inch (1967-70) Mustang Radiator kit. It will cool better and support more power, but will require modification to the stock core support to allow the opening of the core support to make the core width on the larger radiator.
