This is a Weld-in transmission cross member specifically for 65-70 Ford Mustang applications. Will allow most Manual Transmission Swaps (Tremec TKO 5 Speeds and 6 Speed Transmissions) along with Automatic Transmission swaps (AOD and AODE 4R70W). The main cross member tube is 1-1/4 inch x 4 inch drop offset which can allow fore/aft and drop-height variations during installation. This adjustment is important when fitting in aftermarket engine and transmission swap into your classic Mustang. This custom-fit crossmember is the perfect solution to these various transmission/engine swap configurations that will need a cross member that can adjust for that perfect engine angle and transmission placement in your classic 65-70 Mustang. The included insulator platform will work with all common two bolt transmission insulators.

Sized to directly fit in the ‘64-70 Mustangs and ‘62-67 Novas frame rails, this transmission crossmember has a maximum width of 29 inches and ships as an unassembled weld-together kit, which gives the ultimate flexibility in positioning your Mustang's drivetrain. By rotating the 1-1/4” diameter bent tube prior to installing the billet tube adapters your drivetrain angle is adjustable with a maximum drop height of four inches!. Additionally, the weld-on under floor frame rail brackets can be positioned as needed along the length of the car's factory rail to easily accommodate transmissions of various lengths.
