1965 - 1966 Mustang Fastback Fiberglass Deck Lid with S-Styled Spoiler

This New Fiberglass Deck Lid has been designed to give your 65 - 66 Mustang Fastback the S-Styling and look. Lots of fitting and R&D went into making these a very good fit with our End Caps. The deck lid is made with Marine Quality ISO resins and Tooling gels for superior durability without any sagging or warping like some fiberglass parts. Made with a two-piece mold, so the underside is gel-coated and finished and smooth like the top side. Made of high-quality fiberglass materials with the best fit on the market! The trunk hinge mounting points are steel reinforced with a steel plate encased between the upper and lower parts of the deck lid. All holes are drilled and tapped in the steel for you, and will use your stock hardware.

This trunk lid will bolt-up using your stock trunk hinges and hardware. We recommend using a remote trunk release latch (No key needed). Hinge mounting points are steel reinforced and drilled/tapped for your stock hinge bolts.

Please Note: We highly recommend using a Remote Trunk Release Kit. (See Below) Alternatively, if you want to use your trunk lid with a key and stock latch, you will need to cut the hole in the trunk for a key, you will have to install a 67-73 Mustang Trunk Lock Cylinder and Shaft to use with your stock 65-66 Latch (See Kit Below). Also, we recommend using either light tension gas struts designed for a lighter fiberglass trunk lid OR a Prop rod instead of the stock tension rod set-up that was designed for the original and heavier steel trunk lid.
