This hydraulic brake assist system is designed to bolt up to your classic Mustang firewall and work in your engine compartment where a factory booster set-up creates clearance issues or where a high performance engine does not produce enough vacuum for a standard vacuum assist booster! 

Every system is built entirely from brand-new parts—no remanufactured or refurbished components like some others found on the market. This Hydratech system uses only the latest production Bosch units—proven, reliable, and ready for high-performance applications. Each unit is thoroughly tested to ensure consistent and precise brake assist operation before it reaches you. No fabrication needed - Installs using common hand tools on your classic Mustang's stock firewall!

**IMPORTANT INSTALLATION NOTES (PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE): 

  • If using Stock Hood Hinges, you must remove the stock springs and use a Hood Prop Rod for Proper Clearance with the Assembly on the Driver's Side
  • If wanting to run aftermarket Billet Hood Hinges instead, we recommend Eddie Motorsport Hinges as we know they clear this unit (See links below)
  • Must use a Power Steering pump that can provide the proper pressure/flow for a Hydro boost System. If unsure, please contact us before making a purchase.
  • We recommend the Wilwood master cylinder with a 1-1/8 Inch bore we offer on this product page. If you already have a master cylinder, or are planning to use something else, please contact us before purchase to make sure it is compatible.
