Fits 65 - 70 Mustangs And 67 - 68 Cougars, Boxing Plates Weld Over the existing front Frame

65 -70 Mustang & 67 -68 Cougar Heidts Mustang II Weld In Cross member Kit. This Kit Includes The Boxing Plates For Your Stock Frame Rails. Fully Boxed Crossmember And Upper Hats For shocks and Springs. Made To Specifically FYour Classic Mustang Or Cougar front Frame Rails. This SECOND GENERATION cross member is designed to work with a rear sump oil pan and 289/302/351W/351C/390/428FE/460 Motors (Will NOT Work with 5.0 Coyote or other Modular Motors. We recommend only using the rest of the Heidts Mustang II front suspension components with this cross member kit.

***IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTES: Designed to work ONLY with 289/302/351W/351C/390/428FE/460 Engine with a Rear Sump Oil Pan. If you have a 5.0 Coyote, 4.6 or Similar Ford Modular Engine, Please see part number: PX-320-E 
 
If you are installing a roots-style or similar Supercharger, High Rise Intake Manifold, Taller than stock Air Cleaner Etc,  you WILL have to run a scoop or aftermarket hood to clear the top of the engine.
