This completely assembled 3rd Member Center Section comes ready to install with a 31 Spline Truetrac, 3.55 Gear Ratio and 1350 Heavy Duty Yoke with U-Bolts Included.
This unique assembly now makes it possible to install a Ford 8.8 Inch center section into your 9-Inch Rear end Housing. Why would you want to do that? Well, 9 Inch center sections are notorious for having more gear whine during operation. The 8.8 center is also known for being much quieter and more efficient than the 9-inch center section. Now with this ALL-NEW DSE Center section you can simply bolt-in a 8.8 center section to your existing or all-new 9 Inch housing! YES, it really is that simple! The DSE Engineers have now made it possible with this ALL-NEW Patent Pending design.

This rear end GAME CHANGER from Detroit Speed is offered in a complete 3rd Member assembly that will bolt directly into a 9-inch housing with 31 Spline Axles.
The assembly come complete with forged alloy steel carrier bearing caps, a high-strength nodular iron case, high-quality ARP hardware, a heavy duty 1350 pinion yoke, and a 31-spline Eaton Truetrac differential. This center section is designed and built to handle power and deliver it quietly and efficiently to the street!
UPGRADE the 9 Inch Rear end in your Mustang by swapping out to this 3rd Member center section or let Stang-Aholics help you put together an all-new 9-inch Rear end and axles for a complete package!
