Gen 3 Coyote Engine Swap Oil Pan Kit for Classic or Later Model Mustang builds, Kit Includes Everything to Install GEN 2 Pan on GEN 3 Motor

The stock Gen 3 Coyote Engine Oil Pan is a bulker pan than the previous generation Coyote Engines. The Gen 3 Coyote Pan is made of a Composite Material (Not Steel) which makes it hard to modify if you have any clearance issues. This can create a problem when swapping the Gen 3 Coyote motor in a classic or Later Model Mustang with an aftermarket front cross member assembly and suspension. Some workarounds are to try and modify the main cross-member section by notching and re-welding and/or raising the engine higher to gain clearance with the larger Gen 3 Oil Pan. However, neither of these changes are ideal solutions when swapping the GEN 3 engine in your Classic or Later Model Mustang.

We believe this Oil Pan conversion kit is an EXCELLENT solution to replacing the BULKY Gen 3 Coyote oil pan! This kit uses the more compact Ford OE Steel Pan (used on the Gen 2 Coyote engines) and a custom-built pick-up to enable you to use this pan with your GEN 3 Coyote engine! This custom-made pick-up assembly has been designed to connect to the stock pump in the Gen 3 Engine. To mount the custom pick-up the kit includes two main cap bolts that have studs so the custom pickup tube can fasten to them. Also included are a custom oil pan gasket, and additional hardware. Once you install this pan on your GEN 3 5.0 engine it will have the same lower-end footprint and space requirements as either a Gen 1 or 2 Coyote engine! Now that's a cool solution to this common engine swap problem!

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION:

This Oil Pan package must be used as a Kit. When you remove the Generation 3 Coyote Oil pan, the Oil Pump Pick-up is part of the oil pan and has to be removed as well. This kit is designed to work with Coyote Swap cross members that would work with the GENERATION 1 and 2 Engines with STOCK OE Steel Oil Pans. Some cross member designs MAY still require some modifications with the GEN 1 and GEN 2 Steel Oil pan. Make sure to check with the suspension/cross member manufacturer or Stang-Aholics if you are unsure.
