Description

The kit comes with a MODERN Steering Box to bolt directly to the factory mounting location and to fit the stock pitman arm without any interference or modification of the shock tower.

The steering box in this kit has a 1-1/8 inch sector Shaft. Please make sure your pitman arm is designed for a 1-1/8" sector shaft coming out the bottom of the steering box. If you have a 1" sector shaft, please see our kit with the 1" pitman shaft Part#: 1967MS1V8
It provides true modern power steering feel, feedback, and a sporty 14:1 quick steering ratio box.

**Important Items to Check BEFORE Ordering:
- This kit is designed to install with a Steering Column that does NOT have a Rag Joint Between the Steering Column and the Steering gearbox
- The Steering Box in this kit is designed to replace a Steering Box with a 1-1/8 Inch Sector Shaft. Please measure and confirm before ordering.
- If you have a MANUAL Transmission with a Stock Z-Bar (Equalizer Bar), it will need to be modified to clear the hoses. If you have an Automatic Transmission, this does not apply.
- If you do not have a Dual Groove Crank Pulley on your engine, we recommend getting one to drive the Power Pump Pulley in this kit. See the recommended Items on this page.

Eliminate your leaky stock control valve and sloppy steering with this steering kit! Feel the road and feel in control with our new integral power steering conversion kits.
We offer both Kits to convert from MS to PS and Factory PS to PS.

Technical Notes

Note: 1965-67 Mustangs will require replacing steering column shaft. A replacement shaft is included with the kit and will work with 1967 Mustangs that have the EARLY 67 Steering column that is like the 66 Mustang column with NO rag joint. Will not fit manual transmission cars with factory equalizer bar. If you have a factory equalizer bar, you will need to modify your equalizer bar. Also, non-A/C cars will need to have a double groove crank pulley to run power pump.
**Due to the fact that there are 8 possible kits for 1967, some will cross-over to listed kits, and others are available as special order. So, if you have a 67 Mustang, please ensure you have the right kit or call us so we can make sure to get you the correct parts.**
