This unique front suspension system for your classic Mustang will provide a total of 6 inches of travel and the ultimate in ride quality and performance! This suspension system upgrade will provide a substantial improvement over the stock front suspension components and give your classic Mustang true top of the line sports car performance. This all American made suspension kit from Detroit Speed will improve your classic Mustang's handling, ride and steering on par with OEM late model high performance vehicles. Not only will you drastically improve the performance of your Mustang, but you will also open up the engine bay for more engine options including the new Modular 5.0 Coyote motors. Another huge benefit of this front suspension is the ability to install larger 265 front tires on earlier model first gen Mustangs and up to 295 tires on later first gen Mustangs! 

This kit includes the Single Adjustable coil-over shock package which give you the ability to adjust the shock compression and rebound with a simple single adjustment knob. This single adjustable coil-over kit is perfect for the street vehicle and weekend warrior track car. If you will be tracking your Mustang more seriously and/or desire more adjust-ability with the shocks we offer several other packages with double and triple adjustable coil-overs. Detroit Speed's unique front suspension system retains the stock frame rails as well as the stock inner fenders so it will only require a small amount of fabrication when you install it. • Retains stock framerails and inner fenders and only requires a small amount of fabrication for installation. The stock front shock towers will need to be removed for the install. We do provide formed inner panels that replace the shock towers for a finished engine bay appearance. 
• Engine mount kits available for Ford small block Windsor engines, Ford FE big block engines, Ford 4.6, 5.4, and Coyote 5.0 modular engines including   the Boss 302; as well as, GM LS engines
• Spanner Tool for easy shock adjustments is included with the package

Please Note: Anti-roll bar arms are satin black, upper and lower control arms are gloss black.

Important Wheel Note: Must use at least 17” wheels that require a minimum inside wheel diameter of 16.250".

Coyote Install Note: The Aluma-Frame will need to be modified to clear the alternator on the Coyote engine application. We offer an alternator relocation bracket, P/N 060436 that will be required along with modifying the Aluma-Frame to fit the Coyote engine.

Note: For competition applications, the DSE rack & pinion fluid transfer conversion kit will replace the hardlines on your DSE rack & pinion using -4 AN steel fittings. The hoses are Teflon lined to handle the high pressure demands of the steering system and come with pre-crimped stainless steel fittings to attach to the -4 AN fittings. See upgrades below.
