1969 or 1970 Mustang SR-69 Shelby Style Fiberglass Hood, no ram air chamber

This new SR-69 fiberglass hood from Stang-Aholics is designed to fit all body styles of the 1969 or 1970 Ford Mustang. The 1969-1970 Shelby-style hood has distinctive performance styling with it's four inlet and outlet ducts and center-mount air inlet scoop. This new fiberglass Shelby-style hood is the same length of the stock steel hood and does not require the 69/70 Mustang owner to change the stock Mustang sheet metal. The hood will even allow for the installation of the stock Mustang front hood trim! Has steel reinforcements at the hinge and latch area for strength. PLEASE NOTE: Hood Pins must Always be used with Fiberglass hoods for safety.

Before the release of this hood, to fit a 69/70 Shelby-Style hood, one would need to have the correct-length Shelby fiberglass front fenders, valance and other numerous Shelby Style specific parts. The hood is hand-made with the same level of craftsmanship as all the Stang-Aholics fiberglass parts. During the production process our skilled craftsmen use the highest quality raw materials with Marine ISO resins and tooling gels for exceptional strength and longevity. This fiberglass hood is steel reinforced at the hinge and latch mounting points and all mounting holes are drilled and tapped to accept the stock mounting bolts.

The hood can be ordered with a Sealed Ram Air Chamber Underneath (See Part # SARF-69SH-SR) OR Without a sealed ram-air chamber underneath(This one is without) to fully utilize the hood's center air scoop.

***IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTE: THIS HOOD IS DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH ALL STOCK FRONT SHEET METAL.  IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE USED WITH 69-70 SHELBY FIBERGLASS FRONT VALANCE, HEADLIGHT EXTENSIONS ETC.
