65 -70 Mustang Heidts Mustang II Independent Front Suspension, Gen 2

This ALL NEW, 2nd Generation Mustang II IFS for the 64 - 70 Mustangs will allow for easier installoation and better fitment!! Heidt's has notched the crossmember and improved rack andn pinion placement to allow better clearance and lower engine placement for many different engine sizes from early Ford 289, 302, 351W, 390/428FE and 4.6L motors!

We have teamed up with Heidt's the industry leader in performance suspension systems to offer complete suspension kit upgrades and individual suspension components. The Heidt's suspension systems will make your classic Mustang, Cougar or Falcon handle like a modern sports car. We have installed many of these systems on restoration projects and even in our own cars. We are absolutely convinced that these suspension packages are the best in terms of performance and quality on the market today! This kit will eliminate the bumpsteer that plagues stock classic Mustang steering, so your car will track straight over the bumps in the road! The modern rack and pinion steering will elimate any play in the steering by doing away with your old worm and sector gear box. Completely redesigned geometry that will make your old Mustang handle like a modern car!

This kit does require that you remove your stock shock towers. You will also need to use a rear sump oil pan to clear the crossmember and some Ford engines may require the use of a High-rise Hood to clear the intake system! Also, Ford 351 Clevelands will fit using dry sump with our kits!. Air Bags Will Not Fit.
