We are proud to offer a new HIGH Horsepower Heidts Independent Rear Suspension Kit for 65 - 70 Ford Mustangs that will allow large section width 315mm and great rear tires for classic Mustangs. This new kit includes a fully independent Heidts rear suspension kit new wider inner wheel houses and new frame rail sections. The wider inner wheel houses (approximately 2.5" wider than original) will allow up to a 315mm tire in 64-66 Mustangs and up to a 335mm tire in 67-70 Mustangs! The track width of the rear suspension is narrowed to 56 inch overall (hub face to hub face) to allow a shallow offset wheel to provide a aggressive deep dish look to the rear wheels. The new fabricated frame section included with the kit is designed to allow maximum tire clearances. The custom Heidts upper cross member and frame saddle kit is designed to fit the new rear frame section perfectly for a smooth installation.

The installation should be performed by a professional installer/welder with suspension install experience and with welding and sheet metal fabrication skills.

This rear suspension is designed to handle approximately 600-700 HP at the Rear Wheels
