This Is A Complete Kit To Convert Your Standard Mustang Tail Lights Into The 1968 Mustang Ca Special Tail Lights Or The 1968 Shelby Style Tail Lights. Comes With Metal Tail Panel To Replace Original, Metal 3 bucket tail light housings, And Sequential Tail Light Wire Harness with sockets that will plug right into the pre-drilled holes in the included tail light housings. We highly recommend also purchasing part number DI-3643MD to help finish the conversion.

This is not an overlay tail light panel. The metal tail light panel in this kit is designed to completely replace your original 67 or 68 Mustang tail light panel and requires some welded for installation.

This custom high quality metal tail light panel will use the 68 Shelby Style long tail lights and bezels.

Install Note: We HIGHLY recommending using the Custom Tail Light bezel and lens kit (Part # DI-3643MD) we offer to finish the install of this tail light panel.

The tail light wire harness included with this kit will use your stock tail light wire leads that come into the trunk. The wire harness sockets will easily install into the pre-drilled holes in the included metal reflective tail light buckets. The socket holes in the buckets are drilled in the bottom for a clean finished look in the trunk area so the wires can be run out of sight and tucked under the buckets. The wire harness also has the sequential units wired in so it makes installing the sequential tail lights very straight forward and simple!
