This Trunk Lid Spring rod will fit 64 65 66 67 68 Coupe or Convertible Mustang Trunk Hinges. It is designed to keep the trunk lid up when you open and lift it. These torsion bar springs are made from spring steel and when properly installed on your Mustang's hinges will function just like the original trunk lid torsion bar springs. This is designed to be used on Coupe or Convertible Model Mustangs and not for Fastback models (Fastbacks have a smaller/lighter trunk lid).
