Oil Pan Features:

This rear sump stock eliminator pan is for Ford 289-302 engine blocks. This oil pan is designed for drag race stock eliminators, NMRA factory stock, and others requiring a rear sump style oil Pan (Like the Mustang II style from suspension conversion kits in the classic 65-73 Classic Mustangs). This Pan is notched for 2 bolt rear main sportsman engine blocks. The pan uses a stock style pickup.

Our Replacement Pickup for SBF Street Strip Rear Sump Oil Pan is designed to be used with a M-68 Standard Volume Oil Pump or M-68HV High Volume Oil Pump or M-10688 High Performance High Volume Oil Pump. This pick-up tube is Tig Welded and Made in the USA!

Oil Pan Gasket Features:

This SBF 289-302 One Piece Oil Pan Gasket For use with this Style Rear Sump Oil Pan.

PLEASE NOTE: The Ford One Piece & Four Piece Oil Pan Gaskets are NOT Interchangeable. The Ford Oil Pan Stamping That Is Used With A Four Piece Oil Pan Gasket Is Different Than The Stamping That Is Used With The One Piece Oil Pan Gasket. The Four Corners Where The Oil Pan Turns Down To Go Around The Timing Cover Or The Rear Main Cap Are Sharper On The Four Piece Gasket Oil Pan Than The One Piece Style Oil Pan. For A proper Seal You MUST Use The Gasket Style That Is Appropriate For The Oil Pan You Are Using.

Dip Stick Options: 

Braided SS Dipstick Kit

This dipstick features a stainless steel braided dipstick tube, mounting bracket, and polished billet dipstick head and fittings. Dipstick needs to be calibrated for each application and can be bent to fit if necessary. Be sure to check pan listing for proper dipstick recommendation. Dipstick is 1/2" for the dipstick tube. Can be easily Bent to Fit application and clear engine components. MADE IN THE USA. 

Steel Tube Dipstick Kit 

This Universal steel tube dipstick kit is designed for our pans which have a pan mounted dipstick provision built into them. The dipstick needs to be calibrated for each application. Dipstick installs into 1/4" NPT female dipstick bung. Diameter is 1/2". Can be bent to fit application though more difficult than Braided Option. MADE IN THE USA.
