65 - 70 Mustang Coupe or Fastback Torque Box (RH), Weld Thru Primer

DI-3654WT

1965 - 1970 Mustang Coupe/Fastback Torque Box (RH), Weld Thru Primer

This Torque Box for the passengers side is made from high quality 14 gauge steel and finished in Weld Through Primer, making it easier to weld in since there is no grinding. This will help to add strength to your 65 - 70 Mustang unibody in the front. When installing higher HP motors it is important to make sure your chassis is stout to handle the horsepower and torque. If your Mustangs RH torque box is in bad shape or never installed from the factory this is a great way to add strength. Although this is not designed specifically for the 65 - 66 Mustangs (see notes below) it can be used with modifications to the 65 - 66 coupes and fastbacks. Gussets Included

Special Notes

To allow for complete clutch adjustment the left side has full original impression. High quality 14 gauge steel.

PLEASE NOTE:1965-1966 Mustang Coupe & Fastbacks had no front torque boxes, 1967 Mustang Coupe & Fastback had them on the Driver side ONLY. 1968-up cars had them on both sides, Ford started doing this as they started putting the big block FE motors in these cars with higher Horsepower. This reduces chassis twist & increases strength which is why they were standard in convertibles. Convertible boxes DO NOT fit coupe/fastbacks.
