Special Notes
They feature extra thick 3/8 inch flanges, 12 gauge 1 5/8 inch primary tubes and 2.5 inch ball and socket collector for ease of install and a leak free installation. Includes necessary mounting hardware and premium gaskets. For 1964 through 1970 Mustangs with 260, 289 or 302 engines.
Technical Notes
NOTE: 64/65 cars may require either 66/70 motor mounts and brackets or 1/4 inch spacers on stock mounts for proper clearance. 67-68 manual transmission cars will have to modify the clutch equalizer bar. These will not fit late model 302 P heads. EFI cars require C6TZ-9430-RCO2 Reducer Cones.
These headers have also been installed with good clearances in Mustang II type Front Suspensions that remove the shock towers and have front mount rack and pinion steering (Like TCI and Heidts). See additional images on this page.
