This electronic fuel injection ready (EFI) fuel tank is designed to install and be a direct replacement in the trunk for the 64-68 Mustang and 67-68 Cougar. It features internal EFI style baffling and Extra Large 4.3 liter internal fuel tray to prevent fuel pump starvation. Designed to use an internal fuel injection style fuel pump. Uses aftermarket 5 bolt hole senders. Multiple Ohm range sending units available to work with factory or aftermarket gauges. Includes High Performance Fuel Pump Module with 400 Liter Per Hour for 500 - 1000hp and sending unit.

16 Gallon Fuel Capacity, just like original tank. Will also fit in the stock Tank opening in trunk with no modifications to the trunk floor - just drop it right in place!
Tank Dimensions: 32-3/4" x 24-1/2" x 7-1/2"
Features 2 -1/4" Fuel Neck and Connecting Hose. Fuel neck is located in the stock position fore easy hook-up to stock fuel cap and location. This feature will also allow you to re-use your stock filler tube if yours is in good shape.
Designed to use our GPA Line of In Tank Fuel Pump Modules
Uses aftermarket 5 bolt hole senders. Multiple Ohm ranges available to work with factory or aftermarket gauges. We recommend also purchasing our fuel pump kit and sending unit kit to complete your fuel injection tank conversion.
***Please Note: A Roll Over Vent Valve is included with this EFI tank, however, this is an optional component that's not required if you are installing a vented fuel cap on your Mustang.

The GPA-6 Fuel Pump Module is designed to be used in many of our die-stamped alloy-coated and stainless steel gas tanks that have factory-installed reservoir trays. The tray is an absolute necessity for fuel-injection in order to prevent fuel starvation when accelerating and cornering.
We use Walbro high-performance pumps in all of our fuel injection modules, and we offer four different operating ranges in order to supply up to approximately 1000 horsepower. This Fuel Pump is the High Performance Pump GPA-6 with 400 Liter per Hour for 500 - 1000 HP. The internal wiring harness, supply line, return line, filter sock and insulator sleeve are included. (The gasket and screws with o-rings are not included with the pump because we include gaskets and screws with our tanks.)
The heavy 10-gauge no-warp mounting plate contains fittings for the supply, the return, the vent and the electrical connector. It is yellow-zinc plated to prevent corrosion.
Sending Unit Features
5 Bolt Fuel Sending Unit for Early Fords 73 - 10 Ohms
Our fuel tank senders mount with five mounting screws. They work on fuel tanks from 6 to 24 inches deep by cutting to length using the instructions included. Since fuel tank senders only read resistance to ground they work on all 6-24 volt systems positive or negative ground. They do not have a fuel pickup tube built into them as some original senders may have. Made with a high quality ceramic board rheostat.
