1964 - 73 Ford Mustang Coyote Engine Conversion Headers

Doug's Long Tube headers for 5.0 Coyote engine swaps in 64-73 Classic Mustangs and other classic Fords. These headers were designed to work only with an Front IFS conversion kits from TCI or other similar Mustang II IFS suspension kits. Will not work with the Heidts Gen 2 Pro-G Front Suspension kit. High Temp BLACK Finish.

Special Notes

These headers are designed to work with the standard 5 or 6 speed manual transmissions with Quick Time Bellhousing or most other automatic transmissions including the 6 speed select shift automatic.

Headers Feature:

  • 3/8 inch thick Flanges
  • 1-3/4 inch primary tubes with a 3 inch collector
  • Stainless V Band clamp system give these headers the High Quality that you have come to expect from Doug?s.
  • Black High Temperature Coating for Durable Rust Resistance finish.
  • Reducer Pipe at the collectors
  • O2 Sensor Extensions
  • 1100 Degree rated gaskets
  • Premium installation hardware.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Headers can also be ordered in Silver Ceramic Coated finish or raw/uncoated.

Technical Notes

Important Install Note: These headers were designed to be used with front IFS conversions kits from TCI or other Similar Mustang II style IFS Kits. These headers will not work with the Heidts PRO-G Generation 2 front suspension. These headers will also not work with the stock shock towers in place. 
**May also work in 60-65 Falcons, 66-67 Fairlanes and 67-68 Cougars with TCI or other Mustang II IFS Kits.
***Please call if you have something different than the TCI Front suspension kit or one of these other vehicles before ordering.
