The unit is designed to read the engine information from the MSD Atomic TBI EFI kits. The DDI-BIM-01-2-MSD module is a direct plug in using the supplied y-adapter harness for simple connection to the MSD Atomic handheld display or throttle body. (not compatible with the Atomic LS EFI.)

The BIM-01-2-MSD will collect and output the following information to Dakota Digital Instrument Systems (The BIM-01-2-MSD is designed to decode the information provided by the MSD Atomic TBI EFI kits and supply this information to the VFD3 rev. G, VHX and HDX control box instrument systems only.  Earlier control boxes (with an aluminum case) are not compatible with the BIM family of Expansion Modules):

  • Tachometer
  • Engine Coolant Temp
  • Intake/ Manifold Temp.
  • Fuel Pressure
  • Air/ Fuel Ratio

Please Note: Due to the various factory and modified ECM's, additional data add-on's from MSD may be available such as Oil Pressure. Dakota Digital cannot guarantee the presence or accuracy of the Coolant Temp., Intake Temp., Fuel Pressure Pressure, Oil Pressure, or Air/ Fuel ratio displays since this is a function of the ECM and matching OEM functional sensors.
