67 - 68 Mustang Cowl Induction Fiberglass Hood. High Quality Hand Laid Fiberglass Hood With Superior Fit. Works With The Stock Mustang Nose Section. Helps To Add Air Into The Engine Compartment Or Provide Extra Clearance For Taller Engines.This hood is made from High Quality Marine ISO Resins and tooling gels which give this hood superior strength and durability. The ISO marine resins are made to withstand the temperature fluctuations of marine applications and will resist any warping and bowing, which can be common with lower quality fiberglass parts. The hood has steel reinforced plates that are encapsulated in the perimeter structure at the hinge mounting points for strength and you can use your stock hinges and bolts. We recommend the use of light tension springs, hood prop rod or light weight gas struts when using this fiberglass hood. We also ALWAYS recommend using the stock hood latch WITH Hood pins installed for safety.
