67 Shelby Style Fiberglass Hood with Dual Hood Scoops, Same length as stock steel Hood

1967 - 68 Ford Mustang Fiberglass Hood with '67 Shelby Style Hood Scoop. This fiberglass hood features the dual hood scoops like the original 1967 Shelby Mustang, but will work with your stock front valance and headlight housings since it is the same length as the stock steel hood. Steel Reinforced at the hinge mounting point and holes drilled and tapped so it Bolts to stock hinges. Made with very high quality hand-laid fiberglass mat and with high quality marine resins and tooling gels for maximum strength and durability. This hood has an excellent fit!

Special Notes

Hood is Steel Reinforced at the hinge mounting points for extra strength. The steel plates are drilled and tapped for the stock hood hinge bolts to thread into the hood.
 
We strongly recommend that you MUST use a hood pin kit with ALL fiberglass hoods. See the recommended products on this page.
 
IMPORTANT INSTALL NOTE: This hood is the same length as the stock 67-68 Mustang steel hood, so it's designed to work with the stock 67-68 Front Sheet Metal Parts (Lower Valance, Headlight housings). Therefore, you do not need to buy a Shelby nose section to install!
 

Scoop Dimensions on Top of Hood: Length from the back edge of the hood is: 31 3/4 inches, Width is 26 inches.

Note About Clearances: Because this hood does not have cross-bracing and it has the scoop, it will give you about 1.5 - 2 Inches Additional Clearances in the scoop area when compared to a Stock Steel Hood.
