MRT engineers have optimized tube diameter and smoothness of the exhaust path in order to minimize restriction and power losses. The factory mid-pipe is 2.25 inches in diameter at the point of restriction. The AfterCat H-Pipe improves exhaust flow by widening mid-pipe tube diameter to 3 inches. CNC mandrel bending technology ensures a smooth exhaust path and precise fit.
The 2011-2013 Mustang AfterCat H-Pipe is constructed from premium grade 304 Stainless Steel to provide superior corrosion resistance. All MRT exhausts are handcrafted in the USA at the MRT Performance facility.
Because the AfterCat H-Pipe reuses your Mustang's factory catalysts, no tune is required for installation and emissions aren?t affected. This system bolts-on during installation - no drilling, cutting or welding necessary!
